Dean led a meeting between some of Hertfordshire MP’s and the bosses at West Midlands Trains. During the discussion, Dean voiced his concerns over the inadequate service for commuters- notably at Watford Junction and Bushey Station. Dean made clear that the current situation is not tenable and he will hold the train service to account until they deliver better services for the people of Watford. West Midlands Trains have since said they are going to make significant changes to their train scheduling, investment and organisation. Please find the letter from West Midlands Train to Dean where they explain their short, medium and long-term solutions to the problems faced for those who use their trains. In Dean’s first PMQ as MP for Watford, he raised the lacklustre train operator and need for radical improvements.
