In a nation that values the bravery and sacrifice of its armed forces, there are champions who tirelessly work to ensure that veterans are recognise and supported for their commitment to protecting our freedoms.
Dean was delighted to attend the Local Veterans Champions reception at 10 Downing Street. Accompanied by legendary footballer Luther Blissett OBE DL and his partner Lauren Fox, Dean joined forces with the Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Johnny Mercer MP, to celebrate the exceptional work being done for veterans in Watford and the surrounding areas.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the countless volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time and effort to support local veterans. It is a testament to the importance of preserving the memory of airmen, soldiers, and sailors who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
Dean Russell MP commented on the event, saying, "I am delighted that Luther and Lauren were able to attend the reception. It was an opportunity to thank the brilliant hardworking volunteers who support our veterans."
