A Step Towards Change: The Hunting Trophies Bill Progresses in Parliament

A cross party committee report found that British trophy hunters have brought home 5000 trophies of threatened species in recent years. Zebras, hippos, elephants and lions are among the most popular animals. Others shot and brought into the UK include polar bears, monkeys, rhinos, cheetahs and giraffes.

Dean said, 'I am proud to show my support for the campaign to bring an end to trophy hunting. The Hunting Trophies Bill is currently going through Parliament, and will ensure that this cruel and immoral practice finally ceases'.
