Watford MP attended Watford’s first annual carnival inspired by the world-famous Rio and Notting Hill events.
Watford FC legend Luther Blissett opened the day, leading the gathered crowd in prayer, and giving a speech before the music and festivities kicked off.
Speaking after the carnival Dean said “It was a pleasure to attend the inaugural Watford carnival. It was great to see such a colourful and vibrant celebration of culture through music, dance, and costume.
"The event was attended by thousands and attracted local residents as well as people who travelled into Watford especially for this fantastic event. I would like to thank all of the performers who worked hard to put this event together.”
