Dean Russell visited Citizens Advice in Watford to meet the team and to see how they are adjusting post-pandemic. The organisation gives advice to millions of people, and is a service many people rely on. The services they offer include access to a consumer helpline, supporting witnesses through the Court Service, giving pension guidance, housing advice and assistance with benefit applications.
After his visit, Dean said: “It was good to have the opportunity to chat to Emma and her staff regarding the vital work they do offering support and guidance to many people across Watford. I know this branch is looking for volunteers to support their work, and they would really appreciate any offers of help from local residents who could help out for a few hours each month".
Emma Burgham, Manager said: "We were very pleased to welcome Dean Russell MP to our office today to see our team at work. We talked about the issues facing our community, the rising cost of living and how we, and other organisations across Watford, can work in partnership to support our community with the rapidly increasing pressures on household budgets. We would like to thank Dean for his support for our organisation."
