Watford Malayali Cultural Association Celebrates Launch Event

The Watford Malayali Cultural Association (WMCA), which is a newly formed cultural association catering mainly to the Malayali community, held its launch event and invited the local MP Dean Russell to join them in marking this milestone.

The event, which was open to all members of the Watford community, was a fun-filled evening with cultural performances and activities. From traditional music and dance to traditional cuisine, it was an event that fully represented the spirit of Malayalam culture.

Speaking at the event Dean said “It was an honour to be invited to celebrate the launch of The Watford Malayali Cultural Association. I have often said that one of Watford’s strengths is its diversity and community spirit – and this event encompassed and embraced both of those things.”
