Barbie the movie

Barbie, the movie, is attracting record viewing figures which is great for cinema and the creative industries in the United Kingdom and worldwide.

Barbie, and a number of other productions in the UK, were largely filmed at the studios in Leavesden, which was made possible by government support. 

Barbie alone supported over 700 businesses here, created 685 jobs and hired over 6,000 local extras.

I am advised that the total local economic impact of the film resulted in over £80m in direct spend.
