Cing Lee from Parmiter’s School was the winner of Dean Russell’s Annual Christmas Card Competition. The design was so striking, and Dean would like to wish Cing his congratulations.
Dean met with the Prime Minister directly to share the Christmas card, as they discussed all things festive with the upcoming Christmas break. Cing created a stunning eye-catching, creative design which really caught Dean’s eye.
The competition was launched in November, and a number of schools and groups submitted designs. It was really hard to choose an overall winner as the standards and innovative designs were brilliant.
Dean said, "I picked Cing’s hand drawn card as it had a really striking design, with delicate colours. I am so grateful to everyone who entered and supported the competition. My team and I really enjoyed looking through all the entries.
The standard was exceptionally high, and I am confident that we will see a future of many budding artists in Watford. The winning entry, and a number of runner up entries were printed onto my official Christmas Card which I will be sending to individuals and organisations across Watford, and to my colleagues in Parliament. Thank you again to everyone who took part’.
