Dean Russell was the keynote presenter at 'Pitching for Growth' this week at Hertford Castle.
At this empowering event, entrepreneurs attending learnt strategies needed to grow and expand their business with a nearly two hour speech by Dean Russell. Attendees explored ways to get the edge over the competition at the briefing stage and continue to learn techniques on how to gain the trust of prospective clients/customers.
Dean was sharing insights from his book How To Win: The Ultimate Professional Pitch Guide. Dean commented afterwards:
"For a lot of entrepreneurs the red tape and bureaucracy of business can stifle the passion and energy they first had when starting their business. As a Conservative, I believe in business and doing all we can to help businesses succeed so they can grow, create new jobs and support their local community.
I see the challenges businesses - especially start-ups, micro-businesses and the growing number of freelancers - have to succeed and with my book How To Win combined with my understanding of the political arena I do my best to help them see the wood for the trees."
