Dean attended a Zoom event titled ‘What Does It Mean?’ hosted by One Vision to mark Black History Month.
October is Black History Month in the UK which is an important opportunity to promote and celebrate the many contributions made by the Black community in our country, and beyond. Dean discussed the importance of Black History Month with a series of influential guests, which included the Sky News presenter Gillian Joseph, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Lionel Wallace, and the Chair of One Voice, Sharon Platt-McDonald.
After the event, Dean said “Thank you to Enoch and all at One Vision for organising this important event. It was a great opportunity for me to gain a greater understanding of what this important month means to different people in the Black community and to celebrate their many achievements in Watford and across the whole of the UK.”
