Dean attended a Zoom event hosted by One Vision to mark Chinese Lunar New Year.
This year, Chinese New Year fell on the 1st February and in China celebrations last for 16 days. This year is the year of the Tiger, and in Chinese astrology the Tiger is believed to embody the characteristics of enthusiasm, courage, confidence, and charisma.
Dean discussed the importance of Chinese Lunar New Year with a series of influential guests, which included the Chair of ESEA Hornets Alan Lau and the Chair of the UK-China National Dance Exchange Association Ms. Lijun Bi.
After the event, Dean said: “Thank you to Enoch and everyone at One Vision for organising this important event. I enjoyed having the opportunity to learn more about this important celebration and to celebrate the great achievements of the Chinese community in Watford and across the whole of the UK.”
