Dean Russell invites two Pump House Theatre volunteers to Parliament

Watford MP Dean Russell welcomed two Pump House Theatre volunteers to Parliament to discuss the upcoming Watford Fringe Festival.

The Pump House has been running for nearly 50 years and uses their experience to organise the festival. They are a hub for emerging talent and an active leader in Watford’s cultural development.

The Watford Fringe Festival 2022 will be an extraordinary 3-day festival full of theatre, music, interactive comedic acts, and family fun-filled shows! The festival (now in its 6th year) will have performances at 10 venue spaces across Watford.

After the meeting Dean said “The festival is run 90% by dedicated volunteers, which is what makes the Watford Fringe Festival so special. After lockdown the fringe will be retuning with a bang this year, and I really look forward to enjoying the weekend.

There are some really fantastic performers lined up and it promises to be a fantastic few days for Watford’s vibrant creative sector.”
