Approximately 300 toys have been donated and these will be gifted to sick children at Watford General Hospital this Christmas. Charlott has co-ordinated efforts with RAISE, the hospital’s charity.
The vast majority of toys have been donated by fellow residents, with more coming from local business and organisations. Charlott’s daughter was treated by staff at Watford General in 2018 as a baby, and Charlott wanted to not only help the young patients, but also take some pressure off of staff.
Dean said “I would like to sincerely thank Charlott for her fantastic efforts, and for inviting me to get involved. It is terrible that some children have to spend Christmas in hospital but this does not mean that they should miss out on enjoying the festive celebrations.
"Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals that have donated to this wonderful cause. Their donations will be thoroughly enjoyed by the children that get to unwrap them on Christmas.”
