Watford’s MP visited the Oxhey Early Years Centre on Eastbury Road to cut the ribbon on their fantastic new garden and play area. Dean Russell also read one of his children’s novels to the pupils.

The event also celebrated the merger between the Oxhey Early Years Day Care Centre for infants (2–3-year-olds) and the Oxhey Early Years Centre Nursery for 3 -4-year-olds.

Following the event Dean said “It was an honour to be asked to cut the ribbon, and to meet some of the parents, governors and staff. The facilities are fantastic, they are tailored to exactly what the children need and will really enable them to learn new skills in a fun environment.”
