Dean Russell was delighted to support the Give Us Time charity fundraiser this evening. The charity was founded by Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP back in 2012, and has a simple premise of matching donated holiday accommodation with military families in need of rest, rehabilitation and reconnection with their families. It’s a terrific concept and really helps a lot of military families get a well deserved break.
The event was attended by a wide range of supporters including Lady Kitty Spencer and SAS veteran Ant Middleton to support brave military families who would normally struggle to get family time together following injury or during rehabilitation.
Dean commented:
"I’ve been fortunate to have known the Give Us Time team, including Patron Lady Kitty Spencer since the early days of the charity, and I can honestly say they work tirelessly to make a real difference to military families. Since their inception they have managed to send over 500 families on trips but there is always more to do.
