Dean Russell visited Paddy Power’s Watford branch to discuss how they have adjusted their business following the re-opening of retail after what has been a difficult period for High Streets across the country.
Whilst having a tour of the premises Dean was given a £50 charity bet for the UEFA Euro 2020 final match in which England faced Italy.
After the visit Mr Russell said that “it was great to be able to speak to the staff about their work to promote safer gambling practices. The majority of people who enjoy gambling can do so safely, but there is a huge responsibility to ensure that those who are perhaps no longer enjoying it and are finding it difficult to stop can be supported and helped every step of the way.”
“We also spoke about the fantastic charity work that Paddy Power does. It's great to see businesses supporting charities during these challenging times. Thank you to Paddy Power for inviting me and for taking the time to show me behind the scenes.”
