Free guided tours of Parliament are available to constituents. The walking tour of the Palace of Westminster includes -

  • Westminster Hall, the ancient hall at the heart of the Palace where Parliament first sat and where many historic events have taken place
  • The House of Commons, including the Speaker's Chair and the famous green benches and the 'lobbies' where MPs actually vote
  • The House of Lords, including the Royal Throne
  • The Queen's Robing Room, Royal Gallery and many other fascinating parts of the Palace of Westminster

Please note that tours are very popular and places are limited so may have to be booked many months in advance.

Carpenders Park Councillors meet in Parliament to discuss local issues

Nascot Wood Junior Invited to 10 Downing Street. 

Pupils from Nascot Wood Junior school were invited to 10 Downing Street to meet with Akshata Murty, accompanied by their local MP Dean Russell.  The visit came after Dean Russell shared a letter from the school’s Head Boy that was addressed to Mrs Murty.

Watford based funeral directors M. K. Ginder & Sons were invited to 10 Downing Street having been nominated by local MP Dean Russell as a ‘Local Business Champion.’ Founded in September 1983 by Martyn Ginder, the business is now run by father and son duo Adam and Daniel Ginder.
